1 Killed and 1 Hurt in Coalinga Auto Accident near Phelps and Calaveras Avenue
COALINGA, CA (July 11, 2022) – Sunday morning, Edgar Ayala Saldana sustained injuries in a deadly crash near Phelps and Calaveras Avenue.
According to the authorities, the incident happened near Phelps and Calaveras Avenue at around 1:00 a.m.
Reports revealed that an off-road vehicle lost control and rolled over for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders transported the two occupants of the vehicle to a hospital. Then, responders later declared the 23-year-old man driving the off-road vehicle dead. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old male passenger, Edgar Ayala Saldana, sustained moderate injuries in the incident.
Furthermore, authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
Meanwhile, the events leading to the crash remained under investigation.
