Edwin Villalvir Giron Jailed Following Hit-and-Run Crash on Woodard Avenue [Cleburne, TX]

Cleburne, TX (February 27, 2025) – Edwin Villalvir Giron, 22, of Dallas, was injured following a hit-and-run crash on Woodard Avenue Tuesday morning.

The traffic accident happened past 6:30 a.m. at the intersection with N Ridgeway Drive.

According to the authorities, a 16-year-old girl was struck by a red passenger car and sustained serious injuries.

Immediately, the teen was taken to an area hospital.

Later, the authorities found the suspect’s vehicle at a Deluxe Inn on N Ridgeway Drive.

Police then arrested the driver, Edwin Villalvir Giron, on a charge of collision involving personal injury or death, a third-degree felony. 

Giron is awaiting arraignment.

Meanwhile, the Cleburne Police Department is investigating the incident further.
