Buena Park, CA (December 8, 2022) – On November 15, Eladio Balam-Poot, 73, of Buena Park, sustained fatal injuries in a Valley View Street collision.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 4:55 a.m. at the intersection with Cerritos Avenue. When they arrived, officers located Eladio Balam-Poot injured on the east crosswalk.

Investigators said a westbound vehicle on Cerritos Avenue turned right on Valley View Street. The driver struck the victim as he crossed the intersection northbound. The vehicle driver did not render aid and continued northbound on Valley View Street.
