Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on 11100 Camino Del Norte

SAN DIEGO, CA (July 26, 2026) – Friday, a 41-year-old man sustained injuries in a crippling electric scooter crash on 11100 Camino Del Norte.

The incident happened at around 9:50 p.m. in the 11100 block of Camino Del Norte.

A 41-year-old man riding an electric scooter suffered imminently life-threatening injuries after being struck by a sport utility vehicle in Rancho Bernardo, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Police said the scooter rider was traveling northbound when a westbound 2005 Honda Pilot allegedly entered the intersection of Camino Del Norte and Paseo Montanoso against a red light and struck him.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where authorities determined his injuries were imminently life-threatening.

The 27-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
