OXNARD, CA (September 7, 2026) – Friday night, a horrific electric scooter crash on 2700 Rohdea Drive killed 1 person.

The incident happened just before 6:00 p.m. in the 2700 block of Rohdea Drive.

OPD officers found a 57-year-old woman lying on a walkway with an electric scooter just feet away from her.

Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Police said the circumstances leading to her fall and the injuries that caused her death were unclear.

The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact OPD.
