Elsberry Man Dead in Routes DD Collision [Montgomery, CA]

Montgomery, CA (December 13, 2025) –  A 76-year-old Elsberry man was fatally injured in a Routes DD collision Friday morning.

The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Route E in Montgomery County.

Troopers said the Elsberry man was driving a 2015 Chevrolet 1500 that pulled into the path of a 1998 Western Star Conventional big rig. 

The big rig struck the Chevrolet on the driver’s side, killing the driver at the scene.
