Emily Analla Dies in Frightening Collision on 35th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (July 3, 2025) – 29-year-old Emily Analla was killed after a frightening collision on 35th Avenue.

According to Phoenix police say, that the crash happened at approximately 9:45 a.m. near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Thomas Road.

Reports say that the deadly crash involved a car and a stopped bus in west Phoenix, officials say that the crash led to the arrest of a driver on suspicion of impairment Wednesday morning.

Authorities say that 23-year-old Xavier Manuel was driving a car that slammed into the back of a bus stopped along Thomas Road.

Officials confirmed that Analla, a passenger in Manuel’s car, died in the crash. Another female passenger sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

Officers reported that Manuel showed signs of impairment at the scene. Police arrested him and charged him with manslaughter. Additional charges may follow pending the results of toxicology tests and the completion of the accident reconstruction.

Investigators closed the surrounding area for several hours to process the scene.
