Muleshoe Woman Dies in Early Morning Crash in Bailey County

Bailey County, TX (October 17, 2025) — 31-year-old Enid Ramirez Martinez of Muleshoe lost her life in a two-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in Bailey County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash happened on County Road 153 around 6:30 a.m.

Reports say that Martinez was driving south on CR 153 when she reached the intersection of FM 1760. As she entered the intersection, her vehicle collided with a westbound pickup truck.

Emergency personnel pronounced Martinez dead at the scene. Reports indicated that neither driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The pickup truck driver was uninjured.
