Ernest Maxey of Navasota Dead in Accident on Highway 90 [Navasota, TX]

Navasota, TX (April 1, 2025) – 43-year-old Ernest Maxey of Navasota was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 90 Tuesday evening.

NPD said Maxey was walking along the highway, east of Navasota High School, when he was hit by a westbound vehicle.

The involved driver stayed with Maxey and cooperated with the investigators.
