Ervin Wyatt Arrested in Suspected DUI Crash on Highway 132 [Stanislaus County, CA]

Stanislaus County, CA (October 9, 2023) On Thursday morning, 49-year-old Ervin Wyatt was arrested after a fatal crash on Highway 132 claimed the life of 3 people.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly vehicle crash happened around 7:31 a.m. on a field north of Highway 132.

Reports say that Ervin Gordon Wyatt was driving a Lexus sedan at high speed and let his car veer to the left and collide with a Hyundai sedan.

2 people were declared dead at the scene, while a 3rd person was pinned inside their vehicle, after rescuers freed the victim, they rushed him to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, where they also succumbed to their injuries.

Meanwhile, the sole survivor of the crash, Wyatt was found to have been driving impaired. CHP arrested Wyatt.

Officials are investigating the fatal 2-vehicle crash and have not released further information at this time.
