Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Teen Driver in Monterey County
Monterey County, CA (August 8, 2025) – 35-year-old Eudoro Moya Jr of Marina, lost his life Tuesday night after a pedestrian accident on Reservation Road.
According to authorities, the deadly crash happened around 9:57 p.m., south of Blanco Road.
Reports say that a 16-year-old boy from Seaside drove southbound when his vehicle hit the pedestrian, identified as Moya who was also in the southbound lane.
Authorities say that Moya died at the scene from his injuries. The teen remained at the crash site and was unhurt. Authorities have not confirmed if he was licensed to drive. Investigators say alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors for the driver, but they are looking into whether the pedestrian was under the influence.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal incident.
