Grant County, WA (February 22, 2026) – 46-year-old Eva Santiago Santos of George was fatally injured following a SR 281 multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning.

It was before 7 a.m. when the deadly crash happened on the southbound freeway in Quincy.

According to the authorities, Santos was stopped in the southbound lane and attempting to turn eastbound on Road 6 NW.

Suddenly, a vehicle rear-ended Santos’ car, pushing it into the northbound lane, wherein another vehicle struck Santo’s car.

Officers declared Santos deceased at the crash scene.
