1 Person Dead in Pacific Multi-Vehicle Accident on East Osage Street near East Union Street

PACIFIC, MO (August 17, 2026) – Saturday afternoon, a fatal 3-vehicle crash on East Osage Street near East Union Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:20 p.m. on East Osage Street near East Union Street.

According to reports, an eastbound Kia compact car turned into the westbound lanes to avoid colliding with a stopped Ford pickup truck. Then, the Kia rear-ended the Ford and collided head-on with a westbound Dodge SUV.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the 68-year-old male driver of the Kia died in the crash. Then, paramedics rushed the 67-year-old driver of the Dodge to a hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remain unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued its investigation into the crash.
