Fatal Crash Closes Section of Ajo Way in Pima County

Tucson, AZ (December 18, 2025) — Early Monday morning, a deadly crash on Ajo Way in Pima County claimed one life and caused additional injuries.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just before 8:00 a.m. near Tucson Estates Parkway.

Emergency crews responded, and authorities temporarily closed the roadway while handling the scene. The road has since reopened.

Investigators are still examining the circumstances that led to the crash.
