ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (September 13, 2026)— A 6-year-old boy died, and two other people suffered critical injuries Sunday evening in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 near Interstate 70, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 7 p.m. as a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan traveled westbound on I-64 near I-70.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the minivan left the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Emergency medical personnel transported three Wentzville residents to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A 29-year-old woman who was driving the minivan and a 2-year-old boy who was riding as a passenger suffered critical injuries in the crash.
