Fatal Dirt Bike Crash on South Ellicott Highway and Jayhawk Avenue Kills 1 [El Paso County, CO]

1 Person Dead in El Paso County Motorcycle Accident on South Ellicott Highway and Jayhawk Avenue

EL PASO COUNTY, CO (December 25, 2025) – Wednesday afternoon, a fatal dirt bike crash on South Ellicott Highway and Jayhawk Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:00 p.m. on South Ellicott Highway and Jayhawk Avenue.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash involved two dirt bikes.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 15-year-old rider of one of the dirt bikes dead at the scene. Then, paramedics airlifted the other rider, a 21-year-old man, to a hospital with critical injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CSP continued investigating the crash.
