1 Person Dead in Austin Traffic Accident near 7000 FM 969

AUSTIN, TX (May 18, 2025) – Saturday morning, a fatal head-on crash near 7000 FM 969 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:00 a.m. near the 7000 block of Farm-to-Market 969.

According to reports, two vehicles collided head-on in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, Austin-Travis County EMS pronounced one person dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed one person with critical injuries and two people with serious, but not life-threatening injuries, to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
