1 Dead in Bakersfield Motorcycle Accident on Wilson Road and Bladen Street

BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 28, 2025) – Monday night, a fatal motorcycle crash on Wilson Road and Bladen Street killed 1 person.

The incident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle happened at 11:03 p.m. at the intersection of Wilson Road and Bladen Street.

When officers came to the scene, they located a male motorcyclist with major injuries. He was transported via ambulance to a hospital, where he later succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, a preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of a white Hyundai sedan made a left turn from the westbound lanes of Wilson Road. Then, a broadside crash occurred with the eastbound motorcycle.

After the crash, the female sedan driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Meanwhile, impairment was ruled out as a factor in the crash.
