1 Person Dead in Houston Pedestrian Accident on 11700 Kewalo Lane

HOUSTON, TX (April 13, 2025) – Saturday morning, a fatal pedestrian crash on 11700 Kewalo Lane killed one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 9:30 a.m. in the 11700 block of Kewalo Lane.

According to the Houston Police Department, a white GMC pickup truck struck a female pedestrian who was crouched in the street picking up something.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to HCA Clear Lake Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the driver of the GMC remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the Houston Police Department continued investigating the crash.
