HOUSTON, TX (April 1, 2026) – Friday night, a fatal pedestrian crash on 3200 Hillcroft Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:55 p.m. on 3200 Hillcroft Avenue.

According to HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant W Briones and Officer J Chen, a northbound green Hyundai Genesis ran a red light and struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway in a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, responders rushed the female pedestrian to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.
