AUSTIN, TX (June 12, 2025) – Thursday night, a fatal pedestrian crash on 400 US Highway 183 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. at the 400 block of South US Highway 183.

According to reports, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the vehicle with minor injuries.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that impairment played a role in the incident.
