GRAND PRAIRIE, TX (May 15, 2024) – On Wednesday, a fatal pedestrian crash on 600 East Jefferson Street killed one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at the 600 block of East Jefferson Street.

According to the Grand Prairie Police Department, a Honda passenger car that was backing up struck a pedestrian’s leg. Then, the force of the crash caused the pedestrian to fall and sustained a head injury.

Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a local hospital, where the patient was later pronounced dead.

Authorities said that no charges were made as of this moment.
