HOUSTON, TX (April 26, 2016) – Friday night, a fatal pedestrian crash on Bissonnet Street and Sam Houston Tollway killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:26 p.m. at Westwoods Apartments on Bissonnet Street and Sam Houston Tollway.

According to reports, a security guard patrolling the complex struck a child who slipped away from his mother.

Moreover, responders rushed the 1-year-old victim to a hospital, where the child was later pronounced dead.
