1 Dead in San Francisco Pedestrian Accident on W San Carlos Street and McEvoy Street

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 16, 2025) – Friday, a driver died in a pedestrian crash on W San Carlos Street and McEvoy Street.

The incident involving a pedestrian happened at around 1:41 a.m. on W San Carlos Street and McEvoy Street,

Police say a 2006 silver Toyota pickup was heading west on W. San Carlos Street when it hit a man who was crossing outside a marked crosswalk near McEvoy Street.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital, where he later died. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the man’s identity once next of kin are notified.
