1 Person Dead in Austin Pedestrian Accident on West Rundberg Lane and North Lamar Boulevard

AUSTIN, TX (January 27, 2025) – Sunday night, a fatal pedestrian crash on West Rundberg Lane and North Lamar Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:45 p.m. in the 10200 block of North Lamar Boulevard, near the intersection with West Rundberg Lane.

Reports said that a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Austin-Travis County EMS confirmed that the pedestrian died in the crash.

The crash closed southbound lanes of North Lamar Boulevard but has long since reopened.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
