KANSAS CITY, MO (April 16, 2026) – On Wednesday, a fatal rear-end crash on Interstate 670 and Beardsley Road killed one person.

The incident happened on Interstate 670 and Beardsley Road.

According to the Kansas City Police Department, an eastbound black Ford Explorer rear-ended a semi-truck’s trailer that was stopped.

Moreover, responders pronounced the unrestrained front side passenger of the Ford dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed the driver of the Ford with serious injuries and the back seat passenger of the vehicle with non-life-threatening injuries to a hospital for treatment.
