Fatal Rollover Crash on Interstate 215 Claims a Life [San Bernardino, CA]

San Bernardino, CA (January 12, 2024) On Thursday morning, a driver was killed in a 2-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 215.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the disastrous crash happened at about 12:35 a.m. on southbound I-215 just before the Palm Avenue/Kendall Drive exit.

Reports say that the collision involved a gray Toyota Prius and a silver Hyundai Tucson SUV. Officials say that the crash caused the Hyundai to rollover and ejected a person.

Officials say that the Hyundai ended up on its roof near the center divider of southbound I-215.

Medics rushed to the scene and provided treatment to the people involved, one person, the person ejected, was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP is investigating the 2-vehicle crash and have not released additional information at this time.
