MADISON COUNTY, MO (September 16, 2026) – Monday afternoon, two people were killed in a fatal rollover crash on Missouri Route OO near Junction City.

The incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on Missouri Route OO near Junction City.

According to reports, a southbound 2020 Ford Explorer swerved to avoid a crash in the roadway. Then, the vehicle left the road, crashed into an embankment, and rolled over.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 74-year-old male driver of the vehicle dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the 67-year-old female passenger of the vehicle to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that two more occupants of the SUV, a 73-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
