YUBA, CA (April 14, 2026) – Sunday afternoon, a fatal single-vehicle crash on Powerline Road near Striplin Road killed two people.

The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Powerline Road near Striplin Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound vehicle attempted a three-point turn, reversed, and crashed into a canal.

Moreover, responders pronounced an elderly man and woman dead at the scene.
