1 Person Dead in Fresno Traffic Accident on Kings Canyon Road and Del Rey Avenue

FRESNO, CA (May 25, 2025) – Saturday morning, a fatal two-vehicle crash on Kings Canyon Road and Del Rey Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:55 a.m. on Kings Canyon Road and Del Rey Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a westbound green Hummer H2 collided with an eastbound white Chevy Malibu that made a left-hand turn. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Malibu to strike the right side mirror of a Sanger Police Officer’s Motorcycle.

Moreover, paramedics pronounced the 38-year-old female driver of the Malibu, dead at the scene. Also, the driver of the Hummer sustained minor injuries but was not transported.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
