Corning, CA (February 25, 2025) A suspected DUI vehicle crash on Interstate 5 led to 2 people getting killed and another person seriously injured.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the horrific incident happened just before 12:30 a.m. on northbound Interstate 5, north of Liberal Avenue.

Reports say that a driver lost control, veered off the road, went down an embankment, and crashed into a tree. Both the driver and one passenger died at the scene, while another passenger sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

Investigators revealed that none of the victims were wearing seatbelts. Authorities are still working to confirm their identities.
