1 Person Dead in Arlington Traffic Accident on South Cooper Street and Eden Road

ARLINGTON, TX (March 8, 2026) – Friday afternoon, a fatal vehicle crash on South Cooper Street and Eden Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. on South Cooper Street and Eden Road.

According to the Arlington Police, a northbound 2025 Mercedes-Benz C30 struck a 2022 Hyundai Tucson that was making a left turn.

Moreover, paramedics rushed the 54-year-old female driver of the Hyundai to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Also, officers confirmed that the driver of the Mercedes sustained injuries and was also transported to a hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, authorities believe that speed played a role in the crash.
