Marshall, TX (June 13, 2026) – Felton Augusta Hopkins Jr., 98, of Marshall, was killed in a Loop 390 2-car crash Friday morning.

It was before 10 a.m. on June 12 when the deadly collision between a passenger vehicle and a truck happened at the intersection of Scottsville Road.

Marshall Fire Department paramedics rushed to the scene and took Hopkins, the driver of the passenger vehicle, to an area hospital, where he later died.

The truck’s driver, on the other hand, was not hurt in the crash.
