Fatality Reported in Pinemont Drive Solo-Vehicle Crash

Houston, TX (July 10, 2026) – A 30-year-old female passenger was killed in an Ella Boulevard collision early Wednesday.

The deadly traffic crash happened before 12:30 a.m. on July 9, at the intersection with Pinemont Drive.

Investigators said a 30-year-old man was driving a blue Ford F-150 northbound on Ella toward Pinemont when he lost control of the vehicle.

Police said the truck was speeding when it struck a tree.

Immediately, rescuers responded to the scene and rushed the driver to a hospital in critical condition, while his passenger was declared deceased at the scene.

Troopers said no one has witnessed the collision, except the one that called 911.
