1 Person Dead in Los Angeles Multi-Vehicle Accident on 110 Freeway and Third Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 16, 2026) – Sunday morning, a fiery multi-vehicle crash on 110 Freeway and Third Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:50 a.m. on Harbor (110) Freeway at the Third Street on-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved three vehicles, including a vehicle that rolled over and erupted into flames.

Moreover, responders pronounced one person dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a woman to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed all northbound lanes of Harbor (110) Freeway but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
