MESA, AZ (December 28, 2025) – Saturday morning, a fiery vehicle crash on Loop 202 Red Mountain near McDowell Road led to injuries.

The incident happened on the eastbound Loop 202 Red Mountain near McDowell Road.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the crash involved two vehicles, including one vehicle that erupted into flames during the crash.

Moreover, officers confirmed that injuries were sustained in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed eastbound Loop 202 Red Mountain from Gilbert Road to Val Vista Drive but has long since reopened.
