SAN BENITO COUNTY, CA (July 30, 2026)— A 22-year-old Hollister woman died, and three other people suffered suspected serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Fairview Road north of Hollister on Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 3:51 p.m. near the intersection of Fairview Road and Comstock Road.

Preliminary findings from the California Highway Patrol indicate that a Chevrolet Silverado collided broadside with a Honda Civic in the intersection.

Investigators said the Honda Civic was occupied by two juveniles, an adult woman, and another adult. The San Benito County Coroner’s Office identified the woman who died at the scene as Florali Idelia Gabriel-Carrillo, 22, of Hollister.

Authorities reported that three other people involved in the collision sustained suspected serious injuries.
