Frederick Rodriguez Seriously Hurt in Deadly Crash on 42nd Street [Odessa, TX]

Odessa, TX (December 10, 2025) — On Monday, 47-year-old Frederick Rodriguez suffered serious injuries after a late-night collision on 42nd Street.

According to the Odessa Police Department, the deadly incident happened at around 11:09 p.m. at the intersection with Andrews Highway.

Reports say that in Odessa left one woman dead and injured two others. Investigators say a white Mazda MPV driven north on Andrews Highway by 39-year-old Nalleli Waldron sped through a red light and hit an eastbound blue Ford Mustang driven by 21-year-old Nathan Montoya.

The crash caused major damage to both vehicles. Waldron was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where she later died. Her family has been notified.

Authorities say that Rodriguez, a passenger in the Mazda, suffered life-threatening injuries and remains hospitalized. Montoya was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.

The collision remains under active investigation.
