Frightening 2-Car Crash on Highway 24 Injures 2 People [Colorado Springs, CO]

Colorado Springs, CO (June 19, 2025) — Two people were taken to the hospital following a 2-car crash on Highway 24 in Colorado Springs on the morning of June 13.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the collision happened around 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 24 and 26th Street when a full-size pickup truck traveling eastbound on Highway 24 collided with a smaller SUV that was heading north through the intersection.

The impact caused the pickup truck to roll several times before coming to rest on its wheels south of the highway. Emergency crews had to extricate the pickup driver from the wreckage.
