Frightening Bicycle Crash on Suburban Road Kills 1 [Harris County, TX]

Harris County, TX (June 11, 2025) – A 12-year-old male cyclist was killed after a horrendous bicycle crash on Suburban Road Tuesday evening.

According to authorities, the fatal hit-and-run crash happened around 8:40 p.m. in the 11900 block of Suburban Road.

Reports say that a hit-and-run driver killed a 12-year-old boy Tuesday night in Northeast Harris County after the child lost control of his bicycle and fell into the roadway.

Authorities say that surveillance video shows a dog possibly chasing the boy before he lost control on a patch of sand or gravel, falling into the street.

A black sedan, believed to be a Chrysler 300, then struck the child and fled the scene. Witnesses observed the black sedan run a stop sign shortly before finding the boy and his bicycle in the street.

Citizens attempted CPR, but paramedics pronounced the child dead at the scene.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a black Chrysler 300 with likely front-end damage.
