Hemet, CA (July 26, 2026) — On Friday afternoon, a frightening crash on Highway 74 happened when a van struck two adults and a toddler in a stroller, sending all three pedestrians to a regional trauma center.

The collision happened shortly after 1 p.m. while the adults were pushing the child in a stroller. Authorities said the impact knocked all three victims into the roadway. Emergency crews responded quickly and treated the victims for minor injuries before transporting them to the hospital.
