Frightening Crash on Shumway Road Injures 2 Teens [Omak, WA]

Omak, WA (July 24, 2026) — Two teenagers sustained life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon after a shocking crash on Shumway Road where the tandem electric bicycle they were riding collided with a pickup truck at an intersection north of Omak.

According to the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 4:12 p.m. on July 21 at the intersection of Robinson Canyon Road and Shumway Road, just outside the Omak city limits.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and treated the injured teens before transporting them for medical care. Authorities have not released additional details about the victims or the circumstances leading up to the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
