Three Seriously Hurt in Plane Crash Near Santa Teresa Jetport

Santa Teresa, NM (June 6, 2025) — 3 people suffered life-threatening injuries after a frightening crash on Airport Road at the Santa Teresa International Jetport in Santa Teresa, NM.

According to authorities, the crash happened around 11 a.m. at the airport on Airport Road. Emergency crews from Doña Ana County Fire Rescue and the Sunland Park Fire Department responded and found the aircraft wrecked near the runway.

Witnesses helped remove two occupants from the plane before first responders arrived. Firefighters then worked to free a third passenger who was trapped inside the wreckage.
