Frightening School Bus Crash on CR 845 Injures 6 People [Audrain County, MO]

Audrain County, MO (October 03, 2025) — Six people, including five students and a truck driver, were hospitalized after a crash on CR 845 involving a North Callaway School District bus Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the collision happened near Audrain County Roads 845 and 852.

Reports say that a 2010 Ford F-150 driven by a 21-year-old man from Montgomery City lost control and struck the school bus. The impact caused the bus to slide, overturn, and come to rest on its side.

Five children from Kingdom City, ages 9 to 17, suffered moderate injuries and were taken to University Hospital. The truck driver also sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the same hospital.

The bus carried eight students at the time of the crash. Emergency crews cleared the scene, and authorities temporarily closed the roadway. Investigators continue to review the incident.
