According to authorities, the collision occurred around 6:18 p.m. on 128th Street near 62nd Avenue East.

Investigators said a vehicle pulled out from a stop sign, and the deputy’s patrol car hit its driver’s side.

Fire crews extracted the driver from the vehicle before transporting them to the hospital in stable condition. The deputy was not hurt.
