Abilene, TX (June 09, 2025) – A shocking 2-vehicle crash on US 277 on Sunday afternoon sent a person to the hospital.

According to authorities, the disastrous collision happened just after 1:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of US 277.

Reports say that the two-vehicle crash in south Abilene sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police reported that a sedan driver was attempting to turn into the Taco Bueno parking lot when a westbound truck collided with the vehicle. The crash injured the truck driver, while emergency responders transported the sedan driver to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
