Gabriel Tetoe Jaryenneh Sr. Killed in California City Crash on Walpole Avenue

California City, CA (May 29, 2025) — 68-year-old Gabriel Jaryenneh Sr, a California City resident, lost his life following a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning on Walpole Avenue.

Authorities identified the victim as Gabriel Jaryenneh Sr. According to officials, he was a passenger in a vehicle that left the roadway and crashed in the 7000 block of Walpole Avenue at approximately 7:57 a.m. on May 27.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Jaryenneh suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead there by the California City Police Department.
