George Avendano Killed in Crash on 14 Freeway [Lancaster, CA]

1 Dead in Lancaster Multi-Vehicle Accident on Antelope Valley Freeway and 20th Street West

LANCASTER, CA (December 1, 2025) – Sunday morning, George Avendano, 25, died in a 4-vehicle crash on Antelope Valley Freeway and 20th Street West.

The incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. on the northbound Antelope Valley Freeway (14 Freeway) and 20th Street West.

The CHP said all five injured victims were taken to the hospital, though their conditions were not yet available.

A Sigalert that went out at 1:15 a.m. closed all northbound lanes at 20th Street West. It was lifted at 5:51 a.m.

Later reports revealed the identity of a victim deceased as a result of the accident. The victim was identified as 25-year-old George Avendano.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the Lancaster crash.
