El Cajon, CA (June 04, 2021) – On Thursday, a 60-year-old pedestrian, George Flores, died after being hit by a car in an East Main Street accident.

The fatal accident took place at about 10 p.m. in the 1900 block area.

Officers said the victim was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by an eastbound gray Nissan Altima without its headlights on.

Rescuers took the El Cajon man to a hospital, where he died.
