Traffic Crash on Zane Wallace Road Kills 3 People

Robertson County, TX (September 13, 2026) – Gina Jones, 40, of College Station, Christopher Burton, 37, of Hempstead, and a 12-year-old girl, lost their lives in an FM 485 collision killed Friday night.

It was past 8 p.m. on September 11 when the deadly solo-vehicle crash happened on Zane Wallace Road in Hearne.

Police said a big rig was westbound on the freeway when it swerved onto a grass shoulder, rolled over, and struck a tree.

Sadly, the authorities declared Burton, Jones, and the 12-year-old girl, deceased.

Troopers stated the big rig was hauling livestock during the crash, and no other vehicle was involved.
